The Walker Roaders unite Celtic music pioneers James Fearnley (The Pogues), Ted Hutt (founding member of Flogging Molly and Grammy-winning producer for Dropkick Murphys, Old Crow Medicine Show, The Gaslight Anthem, and more), and Marc Orrell (Dropkick Murphys). Their acclaimed 2019 self-titled debut, produced by Hutt, features songs co-written by the trio with lyrics by Fearnley, alongside Brad Wood (Liz Phair, Smashing Pumpkins) on bass and Bryan Head on drums.
Blending Irish folk traditions and Americana, with punk energy, The Walker Roaders deliver a powerful mix of accordion, mandolin, banjo, guitars, and driving rhythms. With decades of experience helping shape the Celtic genre, the trio brings together world-class songwriting, musicianship, and production in a sound that honors the past while forging its own path.
